Around since the late 1800s, the history is almost as sweet as the candy itself. When the tides turned and flooded a candy store owner’s shop, he decided to market his salt water soaked taffys to the public! We’re sure glad the sea found this taffy and so are the generations of people that have enjoyed it since.
